Bac Ninh: Working all night to ensure safety of people and property due to floods

BAC NINH - On the night of September 29 and early morning of September 30, floods on rivers and streams rose, inundating many traffic routes and residential areas in many highland communes. With the highest determination to protect people and property of the People and the State, the authorities and the people made efforts to evacuate people and property to safe locations.

The functional forces of Tuan Dao commune supported people to move their property to a safe location. That night, nearly 100 households received support to move people and property.

Currently, 6 households in Thac and Rong villages, An Lac commune, are at risk of flooding and landslides and have had their people and property moved to safety by the authorities. People in Linh Phu village, Tuan Dao commune had a sleepless night; households kept lights on to watch for water; cleaned up and raised property to prevent damage from rain and flood.

Yen Dinh Commune Police placed warning signs and guided people to move safely on Highway 31, passing through the high water area. With a high sense of responsibility, the functional forces worked all night to patrol, control, and deploy measures to prevent natural disasters.
