On July 29, a leader of Muong Tip commune ( Nghe An ) said that a pregnant woman went into labor and gave birth in the middle of the road and was successfully delivered by doctors and nurses.
At around 10am the same day, pregnant woman Pit Thi H. (residing in Ta Do village, Muong Tip commune) was close to giving birth so relatives and nurses took her from Muong Tip commune to Ky Son Medical Center to give birth.

Because the road from the commune to the medical center was heavily eroded, vehicles could not pass, so everyone had to walk. When they reached the border area between Muong Tip and Muong Xen communes, the pregnant woman H. went into labor and showed signs of being about to give birth.
Ms. H.'s relatives then called for help from the authorities. Upon receiving the news, doctors and nurses from Muong Xen Medical Station brought specialized equipment, crossed the forest to reach the location where Ms. H. was trapped, and delivered the baby right on the road.
Mother H. successfully gave birth on the roadside.

The delivery was successful and after giving birth, Ms. H. and her baby were taken home to be cared for.
Over the past few days, heavy rains and floods have caused severe damage to many mountainous communes in Nghe An, with hundreds of houses swept away and many roads eroded, causing prolonged traffic jams. To date, many roads remain impassable.
