Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity deploys tasks for August 2023

On August 8, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity (hereinafter referred to as the Provincial Steering Committee) held a meeting to assess the situation and results of the Provincial Steering Committee's activities in July and deploy tasks for August 2023. Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were Standing members of the Provincial Steering Committee and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.

In July, the Steering Committee, the Standing Committee, members and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee continued to well implement the tasks and powers as prescribed; regularly directed the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity (PCTNTC) in the assigned localities, fields and topics. The handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee had many positive changes, and progress was accelerated. Timely advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to well implement the tasks according to the 2023 work program and the 2023 inspection and supervision program; directed the implementation and timely implementation of the conclusions and directions of the Central Steering Committee related to PCTNTC work in the locality; deployed the work of auditing the implementation of PCTNTC work according to the plan of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee as required.

Regarding the direction and tasks of anti-corruption work in August, the Provincial Party Secretary directed to continue to effectively implement the 2023 work program of the Provincial Steering Committee; carry out tasks according to the direction of the Central. Continue to direct the implementation of the plan to overcome the recommendations of the Working Group and members of the Central Steering Committee on the results of the inspection and supervision of anti-corruption work in Ninh Thuan province; organize inspection and supervision according to the plan of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee. Strengthen inspection, supervision, settlement of complaints and denunciations, focusing on areas prone to corruption and negativity, outstanding issues, urgent issues of public concern in the province. Direct the effective implementation of self-inspection and inspection to promptly detect and strictly handle acts of corruption and negativity.

Along with that, it is necessary to focus on leading and directing the acceleration of investigation and handling of corruption and negative cases in the locality, especially cases and incidents under the monitoring and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee; strengthen administrative procedure reform; effectively implement digital transformation, especially Project 06 on applying science and technology in the management and operation of state agencies and in handling records for people and businesses; further promote the role and responsibility of the People's Council, the Fatherland Front, socio -political organizations from the province to the grassroots and the people in the fight against corruption; strengthen the responsibility of competent authorities in directing and organizing the implementation of appraisal and valuation of assets in the province; effectively direct the recovery of lost and misappropriated state assets in corruption and negative cases.
