New salary table of specialized cadres of communes, wards and towns

At the regular press conference in June, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that the Politburo has agreed not to abolish the basic salary when reforming the salary from July 1. Instead, the Politburo agreed to increase the basic salary from 1.8 million VND to 2.34 million VND for all officials and civil servants.

Thus, the salaries of officials and civil servants from July 1 will still be calculated according to the formula of multiplying the salary coefficient by the basic salary.

The salary coefficient will still be applied according to the salary tables issued with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP. The basic salary from July 1 will be 2.34 million VND.

Pursuant to Table 5 in the appendix issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, the salary table for full-time cadres in communes, wards and towns from July 1 is as follows.
