The Politburo appointed Mr. Trinh Viet Hung as Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.

The Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, as Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On September 29, at the official session of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat to appoint personnel to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the positions of Provincial Party Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term has 65 members, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has 17 members. Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, holds the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee. Deputy Secretaries of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee include Mr. Hoang Giang, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh and Ms. Giang Thi Dung.

According to Mr. Phan Thang An, the Politburo has decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The decision to transfer Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong will be announced and presented at the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung (48 years old), from Hai Duong province (old), now Ninh Giang commune, Hai Phong city, has a doctorate in business administration.

Previously, on September 23, at the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was appointed by the Politburo as Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, before becoming Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
