Accompanying the nation's important political and social event, the General Department of Logistics and Technology (GC-KT) together with agencies and units in the entire army made every effort to carefully prepare everything from food and accommodation, health care for soldiers to ensuring the technical safety of weapons and equipment on display. All of them exuded a sense of responsibility, seriousness and the honor of contributing to the success of the great festival.

The General Department of Personnel and Technical Services has established a working group to direct the assurance of personnel and technical services and has deployed the direction of personnel and technical services for relevant agencies and units. At Battalion 5/Regiment 64 (Division 361, Air Defense - Air Force), the dining area and garage are utilized to ensure food for more than 600 people; ensure sleeping, resting and living places for 200 people. After urgently deploying the consolidation and arrangement, Brigade 918, Air Defense - Air Force is capable of ensuring food for 350 people, ensuring sleeping, resting and living places for more than 400 people. The Logistics Department/General Staff has grasped the number of personnel of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee and registration of the units to deploy ensuring food for the subjects.

Colonel Trieu Trong Quyet, Deputy Director of the Logistics Department/General Staff, shared: "We understand that serving the troops is also contributing to the completion of political tasks. Therefore, ensuring food is always calculated carefully and thoughtfully."

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected preparations at units of the Air Defense - Air Force Service.

Not only at Battalion 5 and Brigade 918, at the National Exhibition Center, two multi-purpose houses with a total area of ​​900m² have been completed. Of which, a 300m² house serves command and operation and a 600m² house is for eating and resting. In addition, the system of outdoor mobile toilets, electricity and water sources are deployed synchronously.

Along with ensuring food and accommodation, the Military Medical Department has directed the comprehensive implementation of military medical work, ready for all situations. The Military Preventive Medicine Institute and the Military Medical Department have established a military medical team for epidemic prevention and a food safety incident response team with full facilities and equipment. These teams have both guided the forces in implementing measures to ensure food safety and prevent epidemics, and closely coordinated with local health care in performing their tasks.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Phuong, Researcher of the Department of Food Hygiene and Nutrition/Military Institute of Preventive Medicine, Department of Military Medicine, a member of the Military Medical Team for Epidemic Prevention, said: “The workload is huge, but we are determined to absolutely not let the risk of disease outbreaks, food poisoning or food safety incidents affect the forces participating in and serving the exhibition. Preparations must be comprehensive, from epidemiological surveillance, food source control, environmental sanitation to situation handling plans, ensuring strictness in every step and every detail.”

At the same time, emergency, treatment and referral work were organized and coordinated closely. Many mobile medical teams were deployed at various locations, of which Military Hospital 354 deployed a permanent team at the National Exhibition Center area. Military Central Hospital 108 established a 5-person medical team (including resuscitation doctors, cardiologists, nurses, drivers), bringing along full medicine, equipment, and ambulances to accompany and ensure the health of senior leaders. At the same time, the hospital also arranged a medical team on duty at the hospital, ready to mobilize in case of an emergency. The Air Defense - Air Force deployed 2 mobile emergency medical teams on duty at the dining and resting areas of the service forces. The agencies and units participating in the exhibition all arranged their own medical teams for their forces. Military hospitals in Hanoi each deployed a mobile emergency team, on standby at the hospital, ready to receive, provide emergency aid, and treat any situation.

Colonel Le Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department/General Department of Personnel and Technology, emphasized: “The difference of this mission is the scale and absolute safety requirements. Therefore, we have organized military medical teams directly at the exhibition area and arranged forces on duty at the hospital, ensuring effective handling of all situations.”

Along with logistics, technical assurance for weapons and technical equipment on display is also focused on. The Department of Motorcycles and Transport; the Department of Armaments; the Department of Military Engineering of the General Department of Personnel and Technology have reviewed equipment and vehicles; guided and directed units to do a good job of preserving and maintaining weapons and technical equipment participating in the exhibition under their management. The units have done a good job of preserving and maintaining weapons and technical equipment, ensuring that when they are put on display, they are in the best condition. The products on display at the exhibition are all new, modern, and smart types of weapons and equipment of the military services, branches, and sectors. Including nearly 100 weapons and equipment such as tanks, armored vehicles, missiles and rockets, self-propelled artillery, ground artillery, anti-aircraft artillery and special weapons of dozens of types of weapons and equipment on display. Including many products of scientific research, defense production and import.

The outdoor weapons and equipment display area in the southern yard of the National Exhibition Fair Center has an area of ​​over 23,000m2 , arranged in 8 main areas, each area is a group of weapons and equipment. This arrangement helps visitors easily access and learn about each field, while reflecting a comprehensive picture of the strength and modernization of the Vietnam People's Army.

Notably, the equipment selected for display has undergone a meticulous preservation, maintenance, and painting process to ensure aesthetics, reliability, and safety. In addition, the introduction board system is designed in Vietnamese and English, clearly presenting technical and tactical parameters and features, thereby not only serving domestic officers, soldiers, and people, but also creating conditions for international friends to better understand the capabilities, potential, and creativity of our Army in building and protecting the Fatherland.

The exhibition is not only a place to introduce the achievements in building the Army but also an opportunity for international friends to better understand the organizational capacity, management level, and regular and modern style of the Vietnam People's Army. If the HC-KT work is carefully prepared, scientifically and safely, it will contribute to showing the image of a regular, elite, gradually modern army, capable of self-reliance in ensuring, maintaining and repairing equipment. This is also the way we affirm the prestige, position and responsibility of the Vietnam Army in cooperation with other countries, maintaining peace and international integration.

It can be seen that from the work of military logistics, barracks, military medicine to technical assurance, all were deployed methodically and synchronously. The close coordination between the General Department of Personnel and Technical Services and the units has ensured comprehensive personnel and technical support for the National Achievements Exhibition, contributing to ensuring absolute safety and thoughtfulness, contributing to spreading the image of the Vietnam People's Army as a regular, elite, and modern army.
