At the launching ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Trade Union Lai Ba Ha said that with the spirit of " Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Charitable Heart Fund calls on cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, people of all walks of life, agencies, units, organizations, businesses across the country, philanthropists, overseas Vietnamese to promote the tradition of "mutual love and support", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", with the spirit of "giving rice, sharing clothes" to join hands to share and support people in areas affected by storms and floods.

Responding to the above call, all staff, reporters, editors and employees of Hanoi Moi Newspaper donated 1 day's salary each with a total amount of nearly 80 million VND; Vinamilk Company donated 100,000 Vinamilk products (equivalent to 500 million VND); Acecook Vietnam Company donated 200 boxes of Hao Hao noodles to people affected by storm No. 3.
