Sharing the reason why 45,000 billion VND has not been included in the cost for the public to understand, EVN Deputy General Director Nguyen Xuan Nam said that in 2022-2023, due to the world political crisis, the price of input materials, especially coal, increased dramatically, nearly 4 times, gas increased nearly double... While the input price increased, the electricity price was not adjusted, so it could not cover the cost.

Deputy Director of the Electricity Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) Trinh Quoc Vu said that in October 2024, the State Audit will conduct a thematic audit on electricity prices for 2022-2023. Thus, EVN is a state-owned corporation that produces and trades electricity but is subject to State regulation and supervision by state management agencies.

At the same time, EVN is not the only electricity retailer nationwide. Besides EVN, there are 742 electricity wholesale and retail businesses with a market share of about 8.59%.

Ms. Minh Ha (in Yen Hoa ward, Hanoi) said that on the afternoon of August 29, she went to the "Social Security" section on VNeID, then clicked on the "social security account" section to register her bank account number. After 2 days, the bank account notified her that she had received enough for all members of the household, with the words "Gifts for the people to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

Paying and giving Independence Day gifts to people by bank transfer via the VNeID application meets all requirements regarding time, space and timing, helping agencies and organizations reduce costs in transactions, resources and transportation.

Deputy Director of the National Digital Transformation Agency (Ministry of Science and Technology) Le Anh Tuan affirmed that management agencies have actively completed the digital transformation institution, in which people are placed at the center. Every citizen, whether in urban, rural or mountainous areas, has the opportunity to access digital connections and be equipped with basic digital skills to participate in the digital society.

The policy of teaching two sessions a day for all three levels of education brings many benefits in comprehensive development, but also poses many challenges. Schools in Hanoi are proactively removing difficulties to ensure the rights of students.

Principal of Dai Thinh Secondary School (Quang Minh Commune) Ta Thi Thuan said: “Studying 2 sessions/day not only helps students reduce pressure but also creates conditions to consolidate knowledge, practice skills, and develop comprehensively. Students can participate in many activities instead of just studying cultural subjects.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Anh, member of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development, said: "To effectively organize two-session teaching/day, it is necessary to have a reasonable integrated program between the main curriculum content and skills and experience activities."

Regarding this content, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son affirmed that the funding for the second session is mainly guaranteed from the State budget according to the Prime Minister's direction; socialized sources are implemented according to current regulations.

Our country has completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses and is striving to have basically no poor households by 2030. This is a breakthrough step, a solid foundation to continuously improve the material and spiritual life of the people, determined not to leave anyone behind.

Hanoi is one of the first localities in the country to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses by September 2024. In particular, with the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", the city has joined hands to support many provinces and cities to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

“Settling down and making a living” for the poor and people in difficult circumstances is an important step, laying the foundation for realizing the larger goal that by 2030, Vietnam will have basically no more poor households in the spirit of Directive No. 05-CT/TU dated June 23, 2021 of the Secretariat.

General Secretary To Lam once emphasized: “The Party has the responsibility to satisfy the increasingly higher needs for spiritual and material life for all people. That is Uncle Ho's wish, that is the goal of socialist society.”

From capital, technology to old thinking, complicated administrative procedures, fear of policy risks, etc., each entrepreneur and each enterprise is facing their own "bottlenecks" - obstacles that are holding back the "flight" of the private economy.

According to a survey conducted by the Private Economic Development Research Board in coordination with a number of units in June and July 2024, nearly 900 enterprises nationwide reflected that despite many reform efforts, administrative procedures are still a major barrier to business operations.

An internal survey by the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in 2024 showed that up to 67% of member businesses said they encountered many obstacles when accessing loans, of which the following factors stood out: Lack of collateral, too high interest rates and lengthy and complicated approval processes.

In meetings with the Prime Minister and Government leaders in early 2025, representatives of corporations such as Vingroup, Thaco, Hoa Phat, Masan, and FPT presented many practical and urgent recommendations to remove bottlenecks.
