Nhan Dan Newspaper quickly announces the results of the 8th Central Conference, 13th term

At the conference, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association conveyed the core contents of the 8th Central Conference, 13th term.

He stated that during the 7 working days, the Central Committee discussed and gave opinions on important contents: Socio -economic situation, State budget in 2023, plan for 2024, State financial-budget plan for 3 years 2024-2026 and roadmap for implementing the new salary regime; Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation; Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW on a number of social policy issues in the 2012-2020 period; Summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW on building a team of intellectuals in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country; Summary of 20 years of implementing Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW on promoting the strength of national solidarity for a rich people, strong country, and a fair, democratic and civilized society.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, conveyed the core contents of the 8th Central Conference, 13th tenure.

Promoting the spirit of responsibility, impartiality and objectivity, the Central Committee has also carefully studied and commented on the proposed Planning of the 14th Party Central Committee. Based on the results of the introduction of the Central Committee, the Central Party Committees and the functional agencies, the Politburo will soon consider and decide on a step-by-step plan for the Party Central Committee for the 2026-2031 term as a basis for training, fostering, monitoring, inspecting and supervising the cadres included in the planning.

The Central Committee discussed and unanimously decided to establish 5 sub-committees to prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, including: Documents Sub-committee; Socio-Economics Sub-committee; Personnel Sub-committee; Party Charter Sub-committee; and Organization Sub-committee to serve the Congress.

The Party Central Committee elected additional comrade Le Hoai Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission, to hold the position of member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat, term XIII; elected additional member of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission, term XIII, and a number of other contents related to personnel work.

Thoroughly grasping the tasks of the collective of cadres, party members, and reporters of Nhan Dan Newspaper, comrade Le Quoc Minh requested the specialized departments and publications of the newspaper to continue studying the working contents and speeches at the 8th Central Conference, term XIII as well as at previous conferences of comrade General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, to organize strong propaganda on Party building and the political system; in which to deepen research and study to clarify and deepen some important contents.

The newspaper needs to clearly demonstrate its role as the Party's mouthpiece, focusing on systematically propagating the Central Committee's resolutions and conclusions, and the Party and State's overall strategies on regional and national development.

The Nhan Dan newspaper staff continues to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity to improve the effectiveness of information and propaganda and to guide the public in receiving the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, contributing to creating high consensus in the political system and the whole society, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
