On September 30, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 3479/QD-BVHTTDL on sending Vietnamese films to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th OSCARS International Feature Film Awards.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to send Vietnamese films to participate in the Preliminary Round of the International Feature Film Awards - OSCARS for the 98th time.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to send the film "Red Rain" to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th OSCARS International Feature Film Awards.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the People's Army Cinema to submit the feature film "Red Rain" to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th International Feature Film Awards - OSCARS organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of the United States.

The People's Army Cinema coordinates with the Cinema Department to register participating films, submit documents according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee of the 98th International Feature Film Awards - OSCARS and send DCP copies of films and film discs with English subtitles to the Organizing Committee of the 98th OSCARS Awards before 5:00 p.m. on October 1, 2025.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the Chief of the Ministry's Office, Director of the Cinema Department, Director of the People's Army Cinema and Heads of relevant agencies and units to be responsible for implementing this Decision./
