Speaking at the ceremony, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: “On the occasion of the 105th birthday of poet To Huu, we once again express our admiration and deep gratitude to the spirit of the great revolutionary and poet To Huu. During his lifetime, he was assigned important responsibilities: Member of the Politburo, Member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, First Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Principal of Nguyen Ai Quoc Party School, Head of the Central Unification Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Committee, Head of the Central Science and Education Committee, Gold Star Medal, Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts. In his positions, he made many great contributions to the Party, to the people, to the cause of national liberation, national unification, and the whole country moving towards socialism. In particular, when remembering To Huu, many people always affectionately call him a great cultural figure, a great poet, the leading flag, the leading bird of Vietnamese revolutionary literature and art, or more affectionately and briefly, To Huu, poet of the country, poet of the people, poet of the revolution".

The ceremony was attended by many poets, writers, veteran journalists, representatives of veterans, soldiers, students and pupils... The speeches at the ceremony once again affirmed the value of poet To Huu's works for posterity.

On this occasion, To Huu Museum in collaboration with Viet Stamp Club opened the exhibition "Stamps and Poetry: To Huu's imprint over the years", bringing to the public a new look at To Huu's poetic life, completely attached to the revolution and the people.

At the same time, at the ceremony, the activity took place: Experiencing calligraphy through To Huu's poetry. Participants were able to immerse themselves in each soft stroke of the handwriting, each soaring verse of poetry, to once again relive the spirit and aspiration of youth to dedicate themselves to the Fatherland: "From then on, the summer sun shone brightly in me, the sun of truth shone through my heart".

The celebration is an occasion to pay tribute to To Huu - a great poetic talent of the nation, recalling a heroic historical period, when poetry became a spiritual weapon, nurturing faith and aspiration for freedom. At the same time, it is a place where researchers, artists, veterans and the young generation meet and share their love for To Huu's poetry, in order to continue the value of the heritage, so that poetry and revolutionary aspiration will forever flow in the nation's veins.
