Statistics site We Global Football has just made predictions about the performance of the teams at the 2023 Asian Cup, taking place from January 12 to February 10.

Accordingly, this site gives odds for 24 teams participating in the Asian Cup from the group stage to the final match in Qatar. The Japanese team is considered to have the greatest chance of winning, with a percentage of being crowned champion of up to 32.64%.

Coach Hajime Moriyasu's team is in Group D with Vietnam, Indonesia and Iraq, and is considered to have a 99.52% chance of passing the group stage and reaching the round of 16.

Regarding the chance of winning the 2023 Asian Cup, Iran is ranked 2nd by We Global Football with 15.20%, Australia is ranked 3rd with 14.52%, South Korea is 4th with 12.08% and Uzbekistan is 5th with 6.76%.

Although not highly rated for their ability to create miracles at the tournament in Qatar, the Vietnamese team still leads the Southeast Asian region, with a 0.40% chance of being crowned champion.

The Thai team ranked behind coach Philippe Troussier and his team with 0.24%, while Malaysia and Indonesia had 0.12% and 0.04% respectively.

However, Vietnam's ability to pass the group stage is lower than Thailand's, 44.28% compared to 56.80%. Malaysia is 39%, and Indonesia is 29.28%.

Notably, among the 24 teams participating in the 2023 Asian Cup, India and Hong Kong (China) are even considered to have no chance of winning the championship in this tournament.
