Flight acceptance of the helipad of the 1,000-bed building of Military Hospital 175

On the morning of October 13, Military Hospital 175 coordinated with Division 370 (Air Defense - Air Force) to conduct an inspection flight and acceptance of the helicopter landing pad on the roof of the 1,000-bed building (Military Hospital 175), to assess the technical quality and actual operational capacity before putting it into use.

Attending and directing the acceptance flight was Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

During the time frame from 9 to 10 o'clock, the helicopters of Division 370 conducted hovering, take-off and landing, approached the landing site, and coordinated air traffic according to the technical procedures of the Ministry of National Defense . The inspection results showed that all technical items and military aviation safety standards met the requirements, ensuring absolute safety, and were ready to operate for emergency treatment and patient transport.

Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son affirmed that the use of helicopters for emergency services helps patients receive timely treatment during the "golden hour".

The 1,000-bed building of Military Hospital 175 , built on an area of ​​over 21 hectares, was inaugurated and put into operation on May 26, 2025. The project is designed in a modern manner according to international standards, in which the helipad is directly connected to the emergency department and the operating room system, helping to shorten the "golden hour" in emergency work, especially for patients transferred from the southern coastal and island areas of the Fatherland.

The acceptance of the helicopter landing pad is an important step to complete the air ambulance system of Military Hospital 175, enhancing the ability to transport and receive patients from remote islands to the mainland for timely treatment. The project, when put into operation, not only improves the medical capacity of the military and civilians but also strengthens the confidence and peace of mind of officers, soldiers and fishermen at sea, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
