Closing ceremony of the 5th Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, cluster I

Participating in the 5th Vi-Giam Folk Song Festival, Cluster I, there were nearly 400 artists and actors from 13 clubs from the districts of Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh and Hoang Mai town. Each unit participated in the Festival with 3 performances of antiphonal singing, singing, and dancing composed by the artists in the clubs.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most of the clubs have closely followed the Festival's regulations, ensuring the program duration; the program structure is quite reasonable, the form is diverse and attractive; the number of actors is large, rich in composition and there are many young faces who are quite charming with Vi and Giam folk songs.

It is worth noting that many programs have invested in new repertoire written by local authors; there is creative innovation in staging to bring the distance between performers and audiences closer; stories of people's daily lives have been elevated to a sophisticated, profound, and witty art, reflecting many profound human values.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 14 A prizes to the 14 best performances and 13 B prizes and 13 C prizes to the performances.

At the same time, the First Prize was awarded to the Folk Song Club of Nghi Long Commune, Nghi Loc District; 5 Second Prizes were awarded to the clubs: Dien Dong Commune (Dien Chau), Yen Thanh Town (Yen Thanh), Minh Chau Commune (Dien Chau), Phuc Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) and Quynh Nghia Commune (Quynh Luu); 7 Third Prizes were awarded to the remaining clubs.
