Newborn baby boy was abandoned at the gate of a house at dawn

At around 5am on October 7, a woman residing in Ben Luc Hamlet 4, Ben Luc Commune, Tay Ninh Province, heard a baby crying outside the gate so she went out to check. There, she discovered a newborn baby boy lying on the ground. She and her relatives took the baby into the house to care for him and reported the matter to the Commune Police.

Upon receiving the news, Ben Luc Commune Police quickly dispatched local police officers to the scene to verify and record the incident. Upon inspection, it was determined that the newborn was a boy, weighing about 3kg, and had just been born.

During the process of handling the case, the Women's Association of Ben Luc Commune Police promptly coordinated to participate in supporting the initial care for the baby. The members provided advice and guidance on initial medical care, and also provided milk, clothes, necessary items and a sum of cash to meet the baby's immediate needs.

The Commune Police Women's Association also instructed the person who discovered the child to go to the Ben Luc Commune People's Committee to complete related procedures according to regulations.

Currently, the baby is being temporarily cared for by officers and soldiers of Ben Luc Commune Police and local people, and his health is stable. Ben Luc Commune Police are informing to find the newborn's relatives to resolve the case according to the law./.
