Get rich with farmers
In recent years, agricultural production in Tay Ninh has recorded remarkable growth in both output and quality. The development of the linkage chain has created concentrated production areas, which is an important basis for applying scientific advances to production according to technological processes, standardizing product quality criteria, creating a volume of key goods to meet market requirements, not only meeting domestic demand but also exporting to international markets.
Of which, there are more than 100 cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector of the province participating in the chain linking with enterprises in supplying input materials and promoting and consuming products, increasing the value of goods for members.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, said: "The market is increasingly demanding. Distribution chains require products of good quality, reasonable prices, and uniformity, so it is extremely necessary for many farmers to join together to form groups and cooperatives."
Mr. Cham Minh Nhan - Director of Minh Trung Agricultural Service Cooperative (Tan Phu commune), informed that the Cooperative is cooperating with nearly 150 members with a joint area of about 600 hectares of custard apples, produced according to VietGAP standards. The Cooperative consumes products, ensures stable output and supplies inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides to help farmers feel secure in production.

In particular, durian of the Cooperative is a 4-star OCOP product and has been traced to its origin and assigned a growing area code for official export to the Chinese market.
Mr. Phan Hoai Thinh - Director of Bau Don Fruit Tree Cooperative, said: "To achieve 4-star OCOP certification and growing area code for export, we produce according to VietGAP process; strictly comply with production process to ensure food safety and hygiene; quarantine time for pesticides is in accordance with regulations. Thanks to that, in the past 2 crops, the durian products of the Cooperative have had stable output, the income of Cooperative members has also increased".
With a strong spirit of innovation, cooperatives in the province are striving to become a pioneer in restructuring the agricultural sector, playing a core role in the agricultural and rural innovation ecosystem in the digital age. At the same time, the province's trade promotion activities have helped enterprises and cooperatives implement nearly 300 contracts to supply goods to enterprises in provinces and cities; forming 14 production - consumption chains on key agricultural products, helping to improve production efficiency and income for farmers.
In addition, Tay Ninh province issued many policies to support capital, train human resources, connect product consumption, create conditions for cooperatives to operate effectively, affirming their important role in socio-economic development./.
