On July 31, the delegation of the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology led by Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Binh, Director of the Hospital, came to survey and evaluate professional activities, line management, and technology transfer. At the same time, they supported the development of Odonto-Stomatology expertise and signed a cooperation and medical support agreement with the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital.

At the meeting, delegates reported on the current status of human resources, equipment, and treatment of the Dentistry sector in the province, and the province's school dental prevention work. Accordingly, there is currently a lack of specialized equipment for Dentistry; a lack of specialized doctors, and limited technical expertise.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Department of Health hoped that in the coming time, the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology would create conditions and support training and coaching to improve skills in examination and treatment of odonto-stomatology for hospitals in the province; the field of school dentistry and prevention of oral diseases in the community for the Provincial Center for Disease Control and regional health centers. At the same time, support equipment and supplies for odonto-stomatology for hospitals; training and transferring techniques in odonto-stomatology surgery for the Provincial General Hospital.

After conducting a survey of the current situation of the Dentistry and Maxillofacial Department at the Provincial General Hospital, the members of the delegation exchanged, discussed, and evaluated the needs and capacity to receive technology transfer in dentistry and maxillofacial. At the same time, they analyzed and pointed out some contents and requirements in receiving technology transfer of the unit.

Members of the working group affirmed that in the coming time, they will ensure conditions for receiving professional support as well as orientation for developing specialized techniques in maxillofacial surgery for the Provincial General Hospital and medical units in the province.
