(NLDO) - The attractive lion and dragon dance performances on the streets of Hue during the Mid-Autumn Festival have attracted many tourists and locals to watch.

On the evening of October 4, the 13th day of the 8th lunar month, the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, an event within the framework of the Hue Festival 2025 organized by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, began with a lion-dragon dance performance and a street lantern procession.

Thousands of spectators enjoyed the lion-dragon dance at Nghinh Luong Dinh wharf, Tran Hung Dao street, Gia Hoi bridge, Trinh Cong Son park, and the intersection of Tran Hung Dao - Huynh Thuc Khang - Phan Dang Luu.

The lion dance performance will be repeated on the evening of October 7, the 16th day of the 8th lunar month, with special Mid-Autumn Festival activities such as lantern display, lantern procession, lion dance and traditional games.

Within the framework of the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 program, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the nights of October 6 and 7, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center also organized a space to display and arrange lanterns at the Interior Palace in the Hue Imperial City.

Locals and tourists will be able to participate in the program for free to admire Hue's typical lanterns such as Bao La bamboo and rattan lanterns, CAN Studio folding lanterns, traditional lanterns of Gifu province (Japan) artisans displayed at Hue Royal Palace. In addition, there will be experiences of royal court games such as Dau Ho, Bai Vu, Xam Huong, and Calligraphy to create an experience space for local people and tourists.
