Dong Thap Provincial Party Secretary visits typical enterprises after the province's merger

On the afternoon of July 11, comrade Le Quoc Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee and comrade Tran Tri Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee led a working delegation to visit and work with a number of typical enterprises operating in the province.

The delegation visited and worked with enterprises including: Heineken Vietnam Brewery Company Limited - Tien Giang, Advance Tire Vietnam Company Limited, Want Want Vietnam Company Limited and Long Giang Industrial Park Development Company Limited.

Long Giang Industrial Park Development Company Limited currently has an investment capital of 100 million USD, attracting 54 secondary projects with about 25,000 employees, with an occupancy rate of over 80%. Revenue in 2024 reached 1,725.5 billion VND and 964.3 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025. The amount paid to the state budget in 2024 reached 21.4 billion VND and 36.3 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025.

Heineken Vietnam Brewery Company Limited - Tien Giang, with an investment capital of 158.4 million USD, is the enterprise that contributes the largest part to the state budget revenue of the province. In 2024, the company will pay 2,842 billion VND to the state budget and 1,427.2 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025.

Dong Thap Provincial Party Secretary Le Quoc Phong acknowledged the efforts and contributions of businesses to the province's development.

Advance Tire Vietnam Co., Ltd. has an investment capital of 615.2 million USD, revenue in 2024 reaching more than 6,383 billion VND and reaching 3,596 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025. The enterprise paid 5.9 billion VND to the state budget in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd. has an investment capital of 83 million USD, revenue in 2024 reaching 400.74 billion VND and 175.19 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025, paying 5.02 billion VND to the state budget.

At the meeting, businesses appreciated the active support of the provincial leaders and recommended continuing to create more favorable conditions for investment and production. Heineken Vietnam representatives recommended the province to strengthen the fight against counterfeit goods and protect the rights of legitimate businesses.

Dong Thap Provincial Party Secretary Le Quoc Phong acknowledged the efforts and contributions of enterprises, affirming that the province is committed to continuing to accompany, remove difficulties and create the best conditions for enterprises to develop stably and sustainably. Comrade Le Quoc Phong hopes that Long Giang Industrial Park will continue to accelerate the speed of investment attraction, complete filling within 2 years, gradually becoming a model industrial park of the Mekong Delta region.

For Want Want Vietnam, the province will connect with local raw material sources and encourage links with local businesses to jointly develop the value chain. The issues raised by businesses will be promptly handled by the province, in the spirit of companionship and creating an open and transparent investment environment.
