Joining the working delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang in Di An ward were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, leaders of the City People's Committee and departments and branches.
Di An Ward has more than 234,000 people, established on the basis of merging old wards of Binh Duong province including: Di An, An Binh and some neighborhoods of Tan Dong Hiep ward.
Concluding the working session, Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang highly appreciated the achievements of Di An ward and shared the difficulties of the most populous ward in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City requested that departments and branches join hands with ward levels to resolve problems. In the near future, departments and branches will have to send more people to localities to manage construction and urban areas. Especially in Di An, a densely populated ward, they will try to send more officials to handle work, prioritizing school construction.
On the other hand, Secretary Tran Luu Quang requested that localities should not wait, not report everything and wait for instructions, but must be proactive in doing, proactive in adapting to manage and carry out tasks.

Mr. Vo Van Hong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Di An Ward, reported to the working delegation that Di An Ward inherited the material facilities of the old Di An city, which is convenient for the process of handling administrative procedures and performing tasks.
However, the large population also puts a lot of pressure on Di An ward in terms of housing, administrative procedures, and security and order. Di An ward requests the city to allocate staff appropriately, consider allocating public investment budget sources, and budget to ensure the local need for urban development and beautification.
Di An Ward proposed that the city allocate budget to invest in schools and add 267 teachers to the ward to overcome the shortage of schools and teachers due to the pressure of high population growth.
