The fireworks display at Hoan Kiem Lake area (Hoan Kiem Ward) attracted thousands of people to watch. Most cafes do not sell tickets to watch the fireworks, but serve a separate drink menu for customers, with prices 1.5 times higher than normal days.

Before that, around 8 p.m., a sea of people jostled to watch the fireworks on the evening of September 2 at Lac Long Quan Street. Mr. Tran The Bang (25 years old, Nghia Do Ward) and his relatives came to this location to wait to watch the fireworks from 7 p.m. "Every time there is a big event with a fireworks display, I come here to admire and take pictures. Because there are so many people coming here, I often have to come early to choose a good location," Mr. Bang shared.
