Reception to Celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

Speaking at the reception, Party Central Committee Secretary and Acting Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung warmly congratulated the great achievements of the Party, State and people of China in 76 years of building and developing the country. In particular, in more than 10 years of the "new era" since the 18th Congress (2012), under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the core, the Chinese people have successfully and comprehensively built a well-off society, with an increasingly prosperous and happy life; China is increasingly playing an important role in issues of security, development, civilization and global governance.

Party Central Committee Secretary, Acting Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung expressed that in recent years, under the attention, direction and strategic orientation of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and China has been continuously promoted and developed comprehensively and substantially, demonstrated through the following areas: political trust and high-level strategic exchanges have been enhanced; strategic connectivity has been strongly implemented; economic, trade and investment cooperation has grown strongly; the social foundation has been firmly consolidated; exchanges have been maintained, and differences have been actively and properly handled on the basis of respecting each other's legitimate interests, in accordance with international law.

Party Central Committee Secretary, Acting Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that in the coming time, the Party, State and people of Vietnam are ready to join the Party, State and people of China in making efforts to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promote the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance according to the common perception and “6 more” orientation, promote multilateralism, solidarity and international cooperation in handling traditional and non-traditional security challenges, and increase resource mobilization for sustainable development; thereby strengthening comprehensive connectivity between countries in the region and the world, bringing practical benefits to all parties.

Speaking at the reception, Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam Wang Qun reviewed the great achievements of the Party, State and people of China over the past 76 years; emphasizing that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, China has successfully completed the first 100-year goal, comprehensively built a moderately prosperous society, opened a new journey of building Chinese-style modernization, people's lives have been significantly improved, international status and prestige have been increasingly enhanced, and made positive contributions to issues of security, development, civilization and global governance; affirmed that China persists in high-level opening up, proactively shares the benefits of the super-large-scale market, and persistently follows the path of peaceful development.

Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy Wang Qun emphasized that China and Vietnam are friendly neighbors, mountains connected to mountains, rivers connected to rivers, "good neighbors, good friends, good comrades, good partners", with the same aspirations and a shared future. China always regards relations with Vietnam as a priority direction in its neighborly diplomacy; is willing to work with Vietnam to thoroughly implement the high-level common perception, persistently follow the strategic direction of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries on further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, and constantly enrich the contemporary connotation of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.
