Tuyen Quang City currently has more than 17,000 elderly members participating in activities at 15 facilities, 214 branches and 95 groups. In the period of 2019 - 2024, the whole city has 83 elderly members participating in the Fatherland Front Committee of communes and wards; 99 elderly members participating in the Executive Committee of the Veterans Association of communes and wards; 111 members working as Party cell secretaries; 99 members working as deputy secretaries of Party cells; 127 members working as Party cell executive committee members; 175 members working as group leaders and deputy group leaders of villages and residential groups; more than 900 elderly people participating in other fields such as the Red Cross, the Education Promotion Association, the mediation group, the security and order group at the grassroots level, etc.
At the conference, the Elderly Association of Tuyen Quang city awarded certificates to 80 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in building the grassroots political system in the period 2019 - 2024.
