Binh Duong province will hold a conference to announce the planning for the 2021-2030 period on September 26, and at the same time organize investment promotion and grant investment registration certificates to 6 projects with a total capital of 1.5 billion USD.

On the afternoon of September 19, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province held a press conference to announce the Provincial Planning Ceremony for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and investment promotion.

At the press conference, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province, said that the Announcement Ceremony of Binh Duong Province Planning will take place on September 26.

Along with the planning announcement event, Binh Duong will organize investment promotion and grant investment registration certificates to 6 projects with a total capital of 1.5 billion USD.

In addition, a series of projects will be started and inaugurated, including: the groundbreaking of the WTC Binh Duong Complex, Cay Truong Industrial Park; the inauguration of the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road; and Bach Dang 2 bridge (connecting Binh Duong with Dong Nai ).

Informing about some key issues of the Binh Duong province planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan said that the planning sets a goal that by 2030, Binh Duong will become a centrally-run city.

At that time, Binh Duong was one of the dynamic and comprehensive development centers of the Southeast Asian region; leading in science, technology and innovation, a modern industrial and service center; the socio -economic infrastructure system and urban system developed synchronously, intelligently and sustainably according to the green growth model.

Answering the question of the reporter of the Investment Electronic Newspaper - Baodautu.vn, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan said that the difference compared to the previous planning is that Binh Duong's planning is based on 6 development pillars with 37 tasks, 5 integrated strategies and development according to the structural model: 1 development pillar, 2 ecological corridors, 3 connecting belts, 4 dynamic centers and 5 development zones.

Mr. Nhan said that this planning is integrated and synchronous, helping the province thoroughly resolve the existing problems of suspended planning. “The new point of Binh Duong province’s planning this time is to integrate planning in the true sense with quite high goals. However, Binh Duong will strive to surpass itself,” Mr. Nhan said at the press conference.
