The Provincial Military Command directed the Defense Command of Area 5 - Anh Son to mobilize more than 60 officers and soldiers of the regular army and more than 700 militia and self-defense forces along with vehicles to coordinate with local authorities and forces to support people in transporting belongings and assets to safe locations, and at the same time, supplying food, foodstuffs and drinking water to the people.

Currently, the water level of the Con River has begun to recede. The Provincial Military Command has directed agencies and units to continue to maintain combat readiness, closely monitor developments, and proactively deploy rescue forces to help people when the water level recedes. In addition to search and rescue work, agencies and units have also actively promoted and instructed people on skills to respond to natural disasters and prevent accidents during floods.
