The report at the conference stated: 100% of party organizations in the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee have developed implementation plans and 100% of the focal points from the Provincial Border Guard Command to grassroots units have launched the "Digital Education for the People" Movement in conjunction with the implementation of the Movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for people in border areas. More than 5,200 people have been instructed to install and use the VNeID application, submit online public service applications, look up land, health, and education information. 100% of agencies and units have decided to establish a "Digital Skills Team" with 150 participants; these are comrades who are capable of accessing, exploiting, and using digital technologies and platforms and are the core of agencies and units in digital transformation work.

Along with that, the Provincial Border Guard Command widely propagated to 100% of cadres, employees and soldiers about digital platforms serving the "Digital Education for All" Movement; resolutely and effectively deployed the model "Green-uniformed teachers - accelerating digital transformation" with the motto "going to each village, knocking on each house, guiding each person", especially in places with difficult conditions, people in border areas. Organized propaganda on central and local newspapers and radio stations about training conferences, good models, and creative ways in digital transformation work.

Coordinate with Viettel Lai Chau to survey and count the areas with low phone and internet signals, develop a plan to upgrade the infrastructure of phone coverage and internet network in the border area to serve the tasks of national defense, security, digital transformation and serve the needs of the people. Actively propagate, mobilize, coordinate with agencies, units, organizations and individuals to donate 85 smartphones worth nearly 150 million VND to people in the border area...

In addition, through the model of "Anonymous Crime Reporting Mailbox" using QR code scanning method installed in public places, the Provincial Border Guard force has received 64 reports, of which 21 are valuable; from the reports, 1 project, 4 cases have been successfully established and fought, 6 drug criminals have been arrested. Currently, the Provincial Border Guard Command has deployed digital signatures for 100% of non-confidential documents.

Officers and staff of Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command donated funds to buy smartphones to give to people in border areas.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Truong Minh Duc commended the units for their efforts, positivity, and proactive implementation in the past time, achieving many outstanding results in digital transformation work; requested Party committees and commanders of departments and grassroots units at all levels to periodically organize specialized conferences, mid-term and final reviews to evaluate the results and progress of completing tasks and targets on digital transformation, the "Digital Education for All" Movement and the model "Green-uniformed teachers - accelerating digital transformation".

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command launched a fundraising campaign to support the purchase of smartphones for people in border areas.
