With strong direction from the province to the grassroots, digital transformation in Dak Lak is spreading to every hamlet and village.
Viettel Dak Lak provides digital platforms to serve people and businesses. |
Thanks to the determination of local leaders and the support of telecommunications enterprises, the telecommunications infrastructure system has received investment attention. All communes have been covered by 4G, and many places are gradually expanding fiber optic networks, bringing high-speed internet to villages. This is the foundation for digital applications to be effective, creating the premise for a comprehensive transformation process in the future.
In many communes and wards, since the beginning of the term, local leaders have included digital transformation in resolutions and action programs. Departments and branches have coordinated to develop plans, assign responsibilities, and establish specific roadmaps. Thanks to that, the online public service system has been brought to the grassroots level, creating conditions for people to access it without having to travel far. Administrative procedures such as birth registration, issuance of identity documents, document authentication, etc. have all been digitized, helping to reduce time and costs for people.
A notable highlight is the formation and effective operation of community digital technology teams. Each village and hamlet has core members, usually youth union members and village cadres, who directly guide people to install applications, use online public services, make electronic payments or put agricultural products on e-commerce platforms. Short training sessions and "hands-on" sessions have helped digital transformation become no longer a distant dream.

Digital transformation also penetrates into production and rural life, helping farmers access the market in real time to know consumer trends, choose the best time to sell and find business partners. Digital platforms and e-commerce platforms also open up many opportunities to access large global markets for traders and villages. Ms. Sau Duon Thi Dung, a weaver in Xi Thoai Brocade Weaving Village (Xuan Lanh Commune) said: "Since the village's products were introduced on digital platforms, many people have known and loved the products, opening up new development opportunities for the village. This encourages women in the village to be more attached to the traditional craft of the nation."
People in Tan Lap ward have gradually become accustomed to using digital services on smartphones. |
From the strong direction of the provincial leaders, to the synchronous participation of sectors and localities, the digital transformation in Dak Lak has had a clear change, digital transformation has covered all rural areas. And the people who benefit the most are the people, small businesses, and business households. In particular, when people directly benefit, they will become the driving force for sustainable digital transformation.
Although the rate of internet and information technology usage is increasing rapidly in localities, the gap in access and use of technology still exists. In an era where all areas of life are being digitized and solved by technological solutions, people who lack digital skills will face many difficulties. The movement "100 days of peak digital literacy" is deployed in the province with the expectation that no one will be left behind in the digital age.

Since digital transformation became popular, everyone uses smartphones, I was instructed on how to set up social media accounts and practice livestreaming. At first, I was still confused, but now my Hoang HS tiktok channel has more than 20,000 followers, each time I live stream, orders sell very well, becoming the most effective sales channel.
