To carry out the mission, Mi-171 helicopter number 03 took off at 7:30 a.m. and Mi-17 number 7844 took off at 8:20 a.m. from Hoa Lac Airport to Gia Lam Airport ( Hanoi ) to load and unload relief goods. Each plane transported about 2 tons of goods including instant noodles, drinking water, dry food, life jackets, milk and other essential necessities to serve people in flooded areas.




At 9:50 a.m., Mi-171 helicopter number 03 took off from Gia Lam airport carrying emergency relief supplies to Van Nham commune. Then, at 10:15 a.m., Mi-17 helicopter number 7844 continued its journey to Yen Binh commune, where hundreds of households were completely cut off by rising floodwaters.


The mobilization of relief helicopters demonstrates the sense of responsibility and timeliness of the Air Defense - Air Force Service in the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to ensuring the safety of life and stabilizing the lives of people in affected areas. The images of military flights overcoming floods to reach the people not only bring relief goods but also spread the message of solidarity between the army and people, sharing in times of trouble.
