Collection of 700 cameras over decades in the West

Hundreds of old cameras and camcorders are displayed in a very unique arrangement, covering the entire space of a coffee shop located on Le Hong Phong Street, Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam - the owner of the camera collection - shared his passion for art, especially owning both classic and modern cameras and camcorders.

So for the past 10 years, Mr. Nam has been wandering everywhere, looking for any old machine for sale.

The walls are used to display cameras.

"I accumulate every day, looking for old photographers in Hanoi , now I have 700 cameras and camcorders of brands such as Canon, Nikon, Yashica, Pentax, Mamiya, Ricoh, Minolta... Most of them are several decades old, the oldest is over 80 years old", Mr. Nam happily introduces his precious collection.

An open space for those who are passionate about photography

To share his passion with friends, relatives and tourists when they come to Hau Giang, Mr. Nam has displayed his collection in the open space of Coffee Like so that visitors can sip hot coffee and experience and hold old cameras that they have only seen in the media before.

Mr. Nam added that because the cameras are displayed in an open space and not in a closed storage room, they must be regularly cleaned and lubricated to minimize damage, because many of these cameras are still working well.
