Arranging social housing for people with revolutionary contributions

Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet handed over the decision to arrange social housing rental for approved cases.

At the ceremony, Da Nang City announced and awarded the decision to arrange social housing rental for 92 cases of people with revolutionary contributions.

These are people with revolutionary contributions who are supported to rent social housing belonging to public property according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 99 of Decree No. 131/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 of the Government .

At the ceremony, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the city always focuses on social security for policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions. Notably, Da Nang City has implemented a project to build apartment buildings for people with revolutionary contributions who are in difficult housing circumstances, with a clear and methodical implementation roadmap. The social apartment building for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street is a specific result of phase 1 of the project, invested from the city budget. The project not only focuses on the quality of the project but also ensures infrastructure, living environment, safety and amenities, clearly demonstrating the respect, gratitude and thoughtful care of Da Nang City for policy households.

As one of the 92 cases receiving the decision on the morning of July 26, Mr. Tran Huu Tuyen (born in 1959, veteran, An Hai ward, Da Nang city) smiled and shared: "My wish for a stable place to live has now been fulfilled. After hearing the announcement, my family was very excited."

This is an activity organized on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), demonstrating the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and "repaying gratitude" of Da Nang City for the contributions of previous generations in the cause of national liberation and national construction.

The social housing apartment building for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street has a total area of ^3,122m2 , including 12 floors with 209 apartments. The apartment building has amenities including: kindergarten, service area, sports club. The project has a total investment of more than 223.82 billion VND. According to the decision of Da Nang City, the apartment rental price ranges from 637,000 VND to 2,268,000 VND/apartment.
