Accordingly, while presenting 3 news segments in a row, the female news anchor coughed loudly. She still tried to continue presenting but because she could not control her coughing, Thuy Van had to say: "I apologize to the audience."
Then, even though the news was not recorded, the next report was broadcast, but the audience could still hear the female anchor coughing. After these 3 news segments, anchor Son Lam suddenly appeared on air, "saving" his colleague.
Sharing with VietNamNet , Editor Thuy Van said that although this was an unavoidable incident, she felt quite sad because the news she was in charge of was not as smooth and complete as usual.
"A news broadcast really takes a lot of effort from the team. It's a real shame that I'm the host and can't say everything.
At that time, I was presenting 3 news segments in a row so I didn't have time to take a break to stop coughing. I knew my throat was a bit weak but I didn't think I would fall into such a situation. That was also an unhappy incident for me today," said anchor Thuy Van.
BTV Thuy Van is loved by many audiences.
"Right after finishing work, I had to go to the doctor and was prescribed a lot of medicine. I also bought a nebulizer to help my throat heal faster, so it wouldn't affect my work," added editor Thuy Van.
