Responding to VTC News reporters, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province said that he had just directed officials and specialized departments to contact and work with the People's Committee of Ba Don Ward (Quang Tri) to verify and clarify the images of boarding meals said to be at Ba Don Primary School No. 1 that are spreading on social networks, causing a stir in public opinion.
The People's Committee of Ba Don Ward (Quang Tri) confirmed that it had received the information and would work directly as well as request the school to report specifically.

Previously, on some Facebook social networking sites, a photo was circulated that was said to be a boarding meal at Ba Don Primary School No. 1 (Ba Don Ward, Quang Tri Province). The meal tray in the photo includes white rice, about 3 pieces of ham, 1 boiled egg, sesame salt and soup but only a few leaves of vegetables. The accompanying information said that the price of each meal was 25,000 VND.
This image quickly attracted hundreds of comments saying that the portion was small compared to the price and did not ensure nutrition for students. Some individuals also shared the image of the meal and posted it on their personal Facebook pages, expressing their indignant views.

Previously, on September 26 in Quang Tri, 40 students of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School had to be hospitalized after a meal suspected of food poisoning.
Regarding the incident, public opinion in Quang Tri was also stirred up by a clip of more than 40 seconds long circulating on social networks, recording the scene where Ms. D.THH - Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, allegedly prevented the student from being taken to the hospital, despite the request of medical staff. The incident became even more noisy when the clip filmed at the school's medical room spread on social networks.
Then, on October 2, the People's Committee of Kim Ngan commune (Quang Tri province) decided to suspend Ms. D.TTH - Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities for 15 days.
