On the afternoon of October 15, the rain in Da Nang stopped and floodwaters in residential areas gradually receded. Taking advantage of the receding water, people began to clean up their houses and shops, and return to normal life.

According to VietNamNet, houses in the flood-prone area on Me Suot Street (Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang) were flooded with mud after the water receded.

Taking advantage of the time when the mud had not yet dried, people hurriedly cleaned up, scooped up the water still stagnant outside the alley to pour on the floor, spray and wash furniture.
