Doctors and students of Nam Can Tho University donate blood to save lives

(CTO) - On September 27, Nam Can Tho University Hospital coordinated with Can Tho City Red Cross to organize a humanitarian blood donation program with the theme Each drop of blood given - A life remains.

More than 150 people participated in donating blood, including doctors, nurses, hospital workers, patients and relatives of patients being treated at the hospital, and students of Nam Can Tho University.

The Organizing Committee carefully prepared the program with snacks and quick energy drinks for blood donors, while complying with health check and testing procedures, ensuring the safety of blood donors. After the blood donation session, all blood was transferred to the blood bank to serve emergency and treatment work at medical facilities in the area.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dam Van Cuong, Director of Nam Can Tho University Hospital, shared at the program: Donating blood is a noble act, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love of the community. Each unit of donated blood not only contributes to saving the lives of patients but also spreads a profound message of humanity about humanity in life.
