Officers and soldiers of Regiment 292 donate to support the Cuban people

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, on September 29 and 30, officers and soldiers of Regiment 292 (Air Defense Division 377) organized a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people with the theme "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship" on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cuba diplomatic relations (1960 - 2025).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tuan - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Regiment 292 informed about the difficulties that the Cuban people are going through, and emphasized that this is an activity of profound political and humanistic significance, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and the consistent loyalty of the Vietnam People's Army in general and the officers and soldiers of Regiment 292 in particular to the Cuban people - a friend who always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Vietnamese people in the past struggle for national independence. Immediately after the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of the Regiment's agencies voluntarily donated and supported.

On September 30, units in Regiment 292 simultaneously launched and raised donations, with the participation of 100% of officers and soldiers. Through the activity, it is also an opportunity to educate officers and soldiers in the unit about the tradition of international solidarity of the Vietnam People's Army, the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people towards international friends.
