Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, units and localities to seriously implement key tasks including: Strengthening the inspection and supervision of compliance with environmental protection laws; continuing to propagate and disseminate environmental protection laws; summarizing and developing environmental protection plans. The Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Agriculture and Environment to develop plans and organize periodic and surprise inspections of production, business and service establishments that are at risk of causing environmental pollution (it is necessary to focus on inspecting compliance with regulations on wastewater and exhaust gas treatment, solid waste management and the use of chemicals); guiding, inspecting and organizing the implementation of pollution control, waste management, environmental quality, prevention and response to environmental incidents according to regulations; providing guidance on expertise and key tasks on environmental protection activities in accordance with the 2-level local government organization model; Apply modern technology (camera surveillance system) and automatic monitoring stations to improve monitoring efficiency; continue to maintain the reception, verification, processing and response to information reflecting environmental pollution via hotlines as prescribed.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also assigned tasks to the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, the Provincial Police and the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones for state management of environmental protection.
