Close-up inside the three-conical hat theater that just set a record

Areas B and C of Cao Van Lau Theater ( Bac Lieu ) are being urgently constructed to display the interior of the Bac Lieu Provincial Museum.

The idea to build this Theater was presented: "The conical hat is a symbol of Southern culture in particular, and Vietnam in general. The image of three conical hats is close and familiar with the characteristics of Bac Lieu residents and our Vietnamese land, closely associated with agriculture , farmers, and the countryside.

The three conical roofs gathered together are also a symbol of the three most populous ethnic groups that have long lived together in Bac Lieu: Kinh, Chinese and Khmer.

With that special meaning and deep affection, local people also call this Cao Van Lau Theater by an affectionate name, the Three-leaf Conical Hat Theater, a unique cultural work with the very own beauty of Bac Lieu...".
