Responding to the activities within the framework of the Summer Opening Program and Action Month for Children 2023, on the morning of May 28, the Central Council of Young Pioneers in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, together with the Summer Activities Steering Committee of Binh Chanh district organized the opening of a free swimming class for children in Binh Chanh district, with the aim of spreading the message of promoting the sports movement, improving physical health, and preventing drowning for children.

The program was attended by comrades from the Central Youth Union's Children's Working Committee, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, leaders of departments, branches, organizations, the Steering Committee for summer activities in Binh Chanh district and especially the appearance of the "monument" of the Vietnamese swimming village Nguyen Thi Anh Vien and 100 children in Binh Chanh district to participate in the free swimming class.

100 children enjoyed the guidance of Anh Vien

Because he has a lot of experience in teaching swimming, especially to children, the former athlete from Can Tho did not have much difficulty teaching the children at the swimming pool of Tan Tuc High School.

For the timid children, Anh Vien guides them kindly.

The former athlete born in 1996 cherishes and shows a child how to breathe and inhale so that his body can float easily underwater.

Former number 1 swimmer in Southeast Asia made teachers, parents and many children "wow" when he demonstrated many swimming styles.

Children enjoy swimming lessons. Teacher Anh Vien won the hearts of 100 children attending the free swimming class.

Many children and teachers commented that "little mermaid" Anh Vien is very sociable, friendly and teaches swimming techniques enthusiastically and professionally.
