Tuyen Quang enterprises support Xuan Van commune after floods

The impact of storm No. 10 caused many villages and communes of Xuan Van to be deeply flooded, making people's lives difficult. Immediately after learning about the situation, on the afternoon of October 2, the Provincial Business Association coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to organize the giving of relief gifts to affected households.

The delegation presented 250 gifts, including essential necessities such as drinking water, cooking oil, fish sauce, milk, MSG, etc. worth over 50 million VND.

Comrades in the Provincial Business Association Executive Committee, the Provincial Red Cross and leaders of Xuan Van commune joined hands to transport relief goods from cars to rafts to overcome the flood.

According to the statistics of the Commune People's Committee, the flood has flooded 26/43 villages, affected 247 houses and 3 cultural houses, isolated 470 households, and urgently evacuated more than 1,000 households. Over 260 hectares of rice and crops, 400 hectares of fruit trees, and 155 hectares of annual crops were flooded; many traffic routes were cut off.

The Provincial Business Association coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross and Xuan Van commune to give support to families affected by floods in An Lac 1 village.

The Provincial Business Association issued Document No. 109/CV-HH calling on the entire business community, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to promote the tradition of "mutual love and support", "helping each other", and join hands to provide relief to people in disaster-stricken areas. After the first relief trip in Xuan Van commune, the Provincial Business Association will continue to provide relief to people in flood-affected areas in the province, contributing to the province's efforts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, overcome difficulties, and stabilize life.
