Considering 2025 as a pivotal year, also a year connecting with the 5-year term (2026 - 2030), National Assembly delegates commented that in 2025 we have implemented tasks very quickly, strongly and decisively, unprecedentedly. Large-scale changes from two-level local governments and organizational arrangements have received consensus from the people to officials at all levels.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thanh Cam (Dong Thap) expressed his impression of the results that our country has achieved in 2025, with an estimated economic growth of 8%, among the high growth groups in the region as well as the world. Social security is guaranteed, there is a policy of tuition exemption and support, applied to preschool children, high school students and those studying general education programs in educational institutions in the national education system...

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan stated that in 2025, the country's GDP growth is estimated to reach 8%. He requested clarification on which sector the growth comes from, central or local, state economic sector, FDI sector, private economic sector, etc. The clearer the analysis, the more foundation will be to promote growth in the coming time.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa (Dong Thap) suggested that the Government's report should analyze more carefully and deeply the challenges posed in the new period. Especially in the context of implementing two-level local government, the arrangement of cadres requires a more "sophisticated" team to handle the work.
Accordingly, delegate Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa suggested that it is necessary to focus on training and education for commune-level cadres, focusing on self-study, to meet job requirements and tasks, ensuring the right people are used, the right people are selected and the right jobs are assigned; at the same time, it is necessary to focus on salary policies and conditions to ensure that commune-level cadres feel secure in their work.
Regarding the National Target Programs, delegate Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa said that we currently have National Target Programs that have achieved many important results, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country such as the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period, the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period, and the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control until 2030.

The Government is proposing and submitting to the National Assembly for consideration the promulgation of the National Target Program on Education and the National Target Program on Public Health Care, with the subjects greatly affected. Therefore, delegate Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa requested that the Government must clearly analyze and carefully consider the resources to implement these Programs, ensuring effectiveness and objectives as set out.
Delegate Nguyen Thanh Cam suggested that in the coming time, the Government needs to pay more attention to ensuring food safety, especially in the recent past when there has been a situation of counterfeiting buffalo meat into wagyu beef, food poisoning cases in industrial parks, export processing zones and schools...

Concerned about the rampant cybercrime such as fraud and kidnapping, delegate Nguyen Thanh Cam said that although we have regularly informed, propagated and warned, this situation still occurs, so it is necessary to further raise people's awareness, have synchronous solutions from all sectors and levels, and help people prevent and grasp online fraud tricks.
