
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Vo Ward, Tran Thi To Tam, emphasized that the "For the Poor" campaign has now truly entered life and has profound humanitarian and humanistic significance, receiving real attention and active response from organizations, individuals, philanthropists and people of all walks of life.
The results from the campaign to build the Fund for the Poor and social security activities have helped the Party, the government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward have resources to support people in difficult circumstances to escape poverty sustainably; give social security gifts on major national holidays; and build solidarity houses.
Since the establishment of the two-level local government model, the Ward's Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee has allocated funds to give to 90 students in difficult circumstances, each gift worth an average of 800,000 VND; to 69 disadvantaged households during the Month of Action for the Poor, each gift worth 800,000 VND; and plans to give 95 gifts, each worth 800,000 VND and 142 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the National United Front and the National Great Unity Day.

For the Fund for the Poor, after the establishment of a two-level local government, up to now, many individuals have supported and residential groups have mobilized with the total amount of donations collected by the ward reaching more than 1.3 billion VND.
As for the people's movement to support compatriots affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 through the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, up to this point, it has reached more than 1.2 billion VND.
With the fine tradition of "Giang Vo people are kind and affectionate", Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Vo ward Tran Thi To Tam called on cadres, party members and people of the whole ward to join hands and hearts, continue to carry out the campaign "For the poor", build a Fund for the poor, and provide timely support to disadvantaged families so that they can escape poverty sustainably.

At the launching ceremony, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Vo ward presented gifts to 69 families in difficult circumstances in the ward.
