Warning about a series of fake fanpages impersonating the campaign 'Moving Forward with Vietnam'

Some fanpages impersonating the campaign “Moving forward with Vietnam – 1 billion steps into the new era” will lure people to click on fake registration links and unwittingly provide personal information.

The campaign “Moving forward with Vietnam - 1 billion steps into the new era” was officially launched on July 26. However, recently a series of fake fanpages have appeared, causing confusion among many people.

According to the event organizers, these fanpages are actively enticing people to click on fake registration links and unintentionally provide important personal information, potentially posing a risk of information disclosure, property appropriation and causing serious harm to the community.

Fake fanpages often send messages claiming to be from the Organizing Committee, instructing users to click on the link/form to register. In the messages, the fake parties often say they will "support quick registration" or ask for personal information.

These links are not part of the official campaign portal and pose a risk of information disclosure and loss of money.

The organizers of the "Moving Forward with Vietnam" walking program affirmed that this is a completely free community walking activity.

The organizer only accepts registrations on the official portal: cungvietnamtienbuoc.nhandan.vn

Fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/cungvietnamtienbuoc

Therefore, the Organizing Committee would like to remind people not to click on any strange links sent from unofficial fanpages, nor to provide personal information, phone numbers or accounts to strange pages.

People only follow information and register on the campaign's official fanpage and website./.
