Specifically, some places with high rainfall are: Xuan Duong commune is 164.2 mm; Na Sam commune is 114.3 mm; Bac Son commune is 153.7 mm; Binh Gia commune is 155.6 mm; Diem He commune is 141.6 mm; Nhan Ly commune is 207.9 mm; That Khe commune is 135.2 mm... Currently, the province continues to have moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.
The soil moisture model shows that some areas in the province are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached a saturated state. It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, the communes will continue to have rain. The accumulated rainfall in Lang Son province is from 20 - 40mm, locally over 50mm. In the next 6 hours, there is a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes in 65 communes and wards in the area.
Flash floods and landslides not only have a very negative impact on the environment, threaten people's lives, cause local traffic jams, flooding, and affect the movement of vehicles, but also destroy civil and economic works, causing damage to production and socio-economic activities in the locality.
