According to the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, this year's 10th grade entrance exam has 16,223 candidates registered to take the exam at 21 public high schools, and 1,535 candidates registered to take the exam at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.

As a result of the exam, 11,677 candidates (of which 312 were admitted directly) passed the public system of 21 high schools across Da Nang City.
