As of 4:00 a.m. today, September 9, 2025, the domestic gold bar price has slightly decreased. Specifically:

DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold bars at 133.1 - 135.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At the same time, Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC listed the price of gold bars at 133.1 - 135.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 134.1-135.1 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The price of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was traded by the enterprise at 133.1-135.1 million VND/tael (buying and selling).

USD exchange rate on September 9: State Bank lowers central rate to 25,236 VND/USD

On the morning of September 9, the State Bank announced the central exchange rate at 25,236 VND/USD, 12 VND lower than the end of last week. This is the opening move for the new trading week in the context of the USD Index holding around 97.87 points.

The USD selling price at many major banks this morning fell simultaneously. Vietcombank listed 26,147 - 26,497 VND/USD (buy - sell), down 13 VND in both directions compared to the previous session. BIDV kept the buying price unchanged at 26,140 VND/USD and the selling price at 26,500 VND/USD.

Techcombank announced 26,120 - 26,497 VND/USD, in which the buying price remained unchanged but the selling price decreased by 13 VND after the holiday. ACB listed 26,180 - 26,497 VND/USD, keeping the buying price unchanged but decreasing the selling price by 13 VND.

In the free market, the USD/VND exchange rate this morning did not record any fluctuations compared to the previous session, commonly around 26,915 - 27,015 VND/USD.

Pepper price today 9/9/2025: Stable price at the beginning of the week

Pepper prices today in key growing areas remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level is from 150,000 VND/kg to 152,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 152,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Lam Dong (old Dak Nong) is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 152,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is currently at 151,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai is unchanged from yesterday at 151,000 VND/kg.

In addition, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 151,000 VND/kg.

In the world market, based on quotes from exporting enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on September 7 (local time) as follows:

Indonesia’s Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,086 per tonne. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $10,042 per tonne.

Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600/mt.

Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,700/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $12,900/ton.

Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,240 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,370 USD/ton.

In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,150 USD/ton.

Coffee price today 9/9/2025: Stable price at the beginning of the week

Domestic coffee prices today, September 9, 2025, in the Central Highlands region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 112,000 - 113,300 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 113,300 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at 113,200 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged from yesterday and were traded at VND112,800/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged from yesterday at VND112,000/kg.

On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery reached $4,562 per ton, up 2.1% ($94 per ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 futures contract increased 1.16% ($50 per ton) to $4,359 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in September 2025 increased by 0.35% (1.35 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 386.95 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in December 2025 increased by 1.7% (6.35 US cents/pound), reaching 380 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in September 2025 decreased by 0.04% (0.2 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 487.55 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in December 2025 increased by 1.43% (6.6 US cents/pound) to 466.55 US cents/pound.

Rubber price today 9/9/2025: Slight decrease across the board

In Singapore, the price of rubber futures for October 2025 decreased by 0.5% (0.9 USD/ton) compared to yesterday, to 177.8 USD/ton. The contract for November 2025 decreased by 0.67% (1.2 USD/ton) to 178.4 USD/ton.

At the opening of the trading session on September 9, in China, the rubber futures price for September 2025 on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) decreased by 0.43% (60 yuan) to 13,985 yuan/ton. The rubber futures price for October 2025 decreased by 0.6% (85 yuan) to 13,995 yuan/ton.

At the time of the survey, the RSS3 price at TOCOM (Tokyo) for September 2025 delivery decreased by 0.03% (0.1 Yen/kg) compared to yesterday, to 324.6 Yen/kg. The October 2025 futures contract increased by 0.19% (0.6 Yen/kg), reaching 324.4 Yen/kg.

Cocoa price today 9/9/2025: Sharp decrease across the board

As of 4:00 a.m. on September 9, 2025, the price of cocoa traded on the New York Stock Exchange for September 2025 delivery decreased by 2.82% (215 USD/ton) compared to yesterday, down to 7420 USD/ton. The December 2025 futures contract decreased by 2.62% (196 USD/ton), reaching 7275 USD/ton.

At the time of the survey, the price of London cocoa for September 2025 delivery decreased by 2.4% (123 GBP/ton) compared to yesterday, to 4998 GBP/ton. The contract for December 2025 delivery decreased by 1.83% (94 GBP/ton) to 5050 GBP/ton.
