House fire in Na Ngoong village, Minh Son commune

At around 7am on October 6, in Na Ngoong village, Minh Son commune, a fire broke out, completely burning down the 5-room stilt house, about 70 square meters in area, of Mr. Tran Van Trong's family. The family has 3 generations including parents, husband, wife and 2 children.

Minh Son commune leaders visited and gave money to support families affected by the fire.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Commune Police, militia and local people quickly arrived, coordinated to put out the fire, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring areas.

According to the family’s initial assessment, the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit at the main house’s electrical panel. At the time of the fire, all family members were working in the fields. People nearby discovered the fire and promptly helped move a motorbike and a refrigerator out.

However, due to the rapid spread of the fire, the location being far from residential areas and the difficulty in accessing water sources, the entire house along with assets such as cash, food and many agricultural machines were burned down, with estimated damage of about 190 million VND.

Immediately after the incident, the Party Committee and the government of Minh Son commune went to the scene to inspect, visit, encourage and give support money, and at the same time requested agencies, units, organizations and individuals to continue to join hands to help Mr. Trong's family overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
