Details of Kia K8 2023 hybrid for sale for nearly 2 billion VND in Ho Chi Minh City

Recently, a car dealership in Ho Chi Minh City offered the 2023 Kia K8 hybrid luxury sedan for sale at a price of up to VND 1.999 billion.

This 2023 Kia K8 mid-range sedan, approaching the luxury segment, is currently on sale at a dealership in the Ho Chi Minh City area. A sales consultant at the dealership said there is only one car like this and it is sold for up to 1.999 billion VND.

The new Kia K8 that appeared in Vietnam is not the upgraded version that was launched in the Korean market in August 2024. Instead, the car belongs to the old version that was first launched in March 2021 and was imported completely from Korea.

The Kia K8 is the new generation of the old K7. The car has a fairly large size with a length of 5,015 mm and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The car has a frameless radiator grille with diamond-shaped mesh. LED daytime running lights and turn signals are located on both sides of the radiator grille.

In addition, the embossed lines on the side, the chrome strip running from the bottom of the door up to the taillights and the shark fin decoration, embossed with diamond motifs, on the third window. The Y-shaped taillights connecting the two sides and located right below the rear spoiler and the two rectangular exhaust pipes also bring a quite impressive appearance to this Korean car model.

Inside the Kia K8 is a spacious and luxurious interior. Here, the car is equipped with a 2-level dashboard, 3-spoke steering wheel, touch screen for air conditioning and gearshift buttons. In particular, the car also has a curved screen cluster on the dashboard, integrating a digital clock and infotainment screen with the same size of 12 inches.

Other notable features of the car include Nappa leather interior, Ergo Motion Seat driver's seat, 8-way power passenger seat, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, 3-zone automatic air conditioning and 12-inch windshield information display.

The 2023 Kia K8 currently on sale in Vietnam is equipped with a hybrid powertrain with a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine, with a total capacity of 230 horsepower. Along with that is a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The car's safety equipment is quite diverse, including forward collision avoidance assist, automatic emergency braking, speed limit assist, navigation-based smart cruise control system, HDA 2 highway driving assist, 360-degree camera, reverse parking collision avoidance assist, remote smart parking assist and 9 airbags.

In Vietnam, the Kia K8 is not only rare but also has no direct competitors. In foreign markets, the car competes with the Hyundai Grandeur and Toyota Avalon. The price of nearly 2 billion VND of the K8 in Vietnam is currently approaching small luxury sedans from Germany such as the Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG (2.099 billion VND) or BMW 330i (2.079 billion VND).
