Husband takes care of famous singer Huong Lan backstage

The first edition of the Women's Heart - Pearl Heart art program titled " The Moon Is Like Jade" has just taken place at the Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City. The music night featured artists such as Huong Lan, Thanh Hang, Quoc Dai, Ha Van... Despite the unfavorable weather, many audiences still showed up early.

Famous singer Huong Lan was a prominent guest at the music night. The female artist performed songs associated with her name such as Still loving bitter vegetables growing after summer, Mother's heart, Sa mua giong, Hinh bong que nha...

Returning to the Ho Chi Minh City stage - a place with many happy and sad memories in her singing career, Huong Lan was moved by the warm welcome of more than 2,000 audiences. After COVID-19, the female artist said she cherished the opportunities to perform for the public even more.

Famous singer Huong Lan is confident of her good health at the age of nearly 70.

“I feel my health is getting better and better thanks to proper care. I am confident that I can sing 10-15 songs every time I go on stage. That is also the motivation for me to work enthusiastically and actively in my old age,” she shared.

The artist said that at the age of nearly 70, she still diligently performs both at home and abroad to repay the public's love. Her family always supports and encourages her to pursue art until she is "weak and weak" before retiring.

Mr. Quoc Toan – Huong Lan’s husband also attended the event. He sat attentively in the audience watching his wife and the artists’ performances. As soon as the show ended, he lingered for a long time waiting for his wife to take souvenir photos and interact with everyone, then kindly asked and encouraged her.

Over the years, her husband has also been a companion and a strong supporter for the female artist to comfortably pursue her musical path and charity activities.

“Luckily, I am retired so I can spend more time accompanying my wife in her daily work. My wife and I are getting older, so we try to arrange a reasonable schedule to both work and rest. We are well aware that our time is limited, so we try our best,” he shared.

Along with Huong Lan, Thanh Hang was also chosen by the Organizing Committee to honor women of the previous generation.

Since returning to Vietnam in 2017, Thanh Hang's work and life have had many positive changes. The artist is happy to be able to work, is loved by the audience and is quite in demand as a judge. She expressed her joy that Cai Luong, after a period of stagnation, has been accepted and loved by the majority, especially the younger generation.

Thanh Hang expressed her gratitude for the message and profound meaning that the program brings to women. The artist hopes that from Pearl Heart, there will be many programs born with similar values in the future.

The organizers said that over the past time, they have accompanied and called for fundraising to support the Vietnam Heartbeat program to join hands to support free heart surgery for children in difficult circumstances. During the program, they also gave money to the fund and hoped to spread the meaningful message to more people.
