The conference will open on the morning of October 7 and last until October 9, organized by the Vietnam Rencontres du Vietnam, the ICISE Center in collaboration with the International Organizing Committee. The event brings together more than 80 professors, scientists , and researchers from 14 countries and 60 excellent students majoring in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology from specialized high schools in the region, creating a space for meeting and sharing knowledge between generations of science lovers.
In addition to Professor Serge Haroche, the conference also featured prestigious speakers such as Professor Hans Bachor (Australian National University), Professor John Doyle (Harvard University, USA), Professor Alberto Bramati (Sorbonne University, France/National University of Singapore), Professor Michel Brune (Collège de France, France), Professor Arno Rauschenbeutel (Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany) and many other leading experts.

Before the official start of the conference, the organizing committee will hold specialized orientation sessions for graduate students and young scientists to equip them with background knowledge and an overview of specialized fields of quantum physics. At the same time, the organizing committee wants to promote connections between international scientists and the young generation of Vietnam, paving the way for new international scientific cooperation.
At the conference, PhD students and young scientists will have the opportunity to present their research results and receive direct feedback from international experts. Roundtable discussions are designed to encourage academic exchange, disseminate new ideas, form common research directions and initiate collaborative projects between Vietnamese and international laboratories.
For more than a century, atomic physics and quantum physics have gone hand in hand, complementing and promoting each other, opening up many revolutions in perception and technological applications. Experiments on the interaction between light and atoms, especially since the invention of the laser more than 60 years ago, have made this field the focus of many Nobel Prizes and paved the way for the quantum technology era that humanity is entering.
Professor Serge Haroche (81 years old), a French physicist, is one of the representative faces of modern quantum physics. He is currently an honorary professor at the Collège de France, a member of the French Academy of Sciences, the US National Academy of Sciences and many prestigious international scientific associations.
In addition to the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, Professor Haroche was also honored with a series of prestigious awards such as the Einstein Prize in Laser Science (1988), the Humboldt Prize (1992), the CNRS Gold Medal (2009)...
He was the teacher of many of the world's leading scientists such as Professor Michel Brune, Professor Arno Rauschenbeutel, Professor Claude Fabre, Professor Jean-Michel Raimond...
Professor Haroche is the 19th Nobel Prize-winning professor to come to Gia Lai province and the ICISE Center since the center began operating in 2013.
