Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested clarification on slow disbursement projects

On the morning of September 27, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province held an online conference at 2 levels of the Steering Committee to implement national target programs and promote the disbursement progress of the public investment capital plan in 2024.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired the conference; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Chien and Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh attended.

In the first 9 months of the year, the rate of investment capital disbursement in Dak Nong is still low.

Opening the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that there is not much time left in 2024, investors need to focus on clarifying which projects cannot be disbursed or are disbursed slowly.

Apart from the bauxite problem, the districts that do not have problems need to clarify the reasons why they cannot implement it. Particularly for the 3 national target programs, which projects cannot be implemented and which projects need to be transferred must be clearly stated.

We must be honest with each other about both subjective and objective aspects and responsibilities. The remaining 3 months of the year, how much has been disbursed must be clearly stated.

"For the three national target programs, no one forces us to do anything wrong. Therefore, projects and components that cannot be disbursed must be proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to return the source to the Central Government immediately," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed.

As of September 11, 2024, Dak Nong disbursed 1,234 billion VND in investment, reaching 37% of the plan. Particularly, 3 national target programs disbursed 1,555 billion VND, reaching 50.7% of the assigned plan.
